of some photos and penang ferry...

Recently i took my birthday present for myself out for a ferry ride and these are the results...

There used to be 2 types of ferries. one for passenger in the uppder deck and vehicle on the lower deck and another that carries vehicles on both decks. But after the platform collapse tragedy, they converted the vehicular ferry to carry passengers on the upper decks.

For some, the ferry ride is just a matter of getting from point A to point B, but for others (especially kids) it is an adventure by itself and worth all running for.

but if you have been on the ferry day in and day out like these two guys who are supoposed to man the gates. the ride is just a thing to get done.

for some it's business as usual...

for others, it's a temporary escape from the 'white noise' and opportunity to steal some time to be alone.

or just to catch a breath (in this case, through a lighted cigarette)

but there are those who vuiew it as a temporary sleep mode for the brain...

but all that doesn't matter, because pigeons rides for free!

sometimes hor.... when putting on you your daughter's shoes, you gotta pay attention, or else this will happen...

I still have not figured out if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Our little girl is very active and cannot seem to sit still. It is as if she needs to be always on the move. You know, like a shark, they have to swim constantly else they will sink. Our little girl will always be walking around or going to grab something and sometimes it seems that she carries this through into her sleep.

Sometimes she will wake up in the night and climb out of the crib. I was going through some photos yesterday and saw these photos. I guess wifey must have taken them. Looks like little girl decided to climb out and then fell asleep right after she got out...

of kiddie swing and visit to the park...

We took our little girl to Youth Park the other day. as usual, she got all excited and want to touch this and that. Since her butt is big enough to prevent her from slipping through, we thought that we'd let her try the kiddie swing.




i think she still cannot decide if she like the swing or not. (oh ya, anyone knows how to flip the video ah! else everyone have to bear with me and bend your head when you see this video :) )

of april 4th and february 2nd...

I had a rather odd but pleasant surprise at church last Sunday. Normally, at the end of the service, during the announcements, the liturgist will announce the names of the members who will be celebrating their birthdays in the coming week. And what do you know, my name was announced and I have to go up to the front to receive my present. Everything is good and well…. Except for the fact that my birthday was on February!

Actually hor… it is like this. My birthday is actually on February the 4th, so I guess somewhere along the way the month and day digit got mixed up and it became April the 2nd. So according to my church my birthday is actually on April 2nd. I did correct them a few years ago, but i guess it’s kinda cool that I get to stay younger for 2 extra months every year J

Speaking of church, please continue to pray for my pastor’s son Isaac. His fits have returned and he was admitted to the GH ICU last week.
