of hotel hallway renovation and George...

Some additional entry about the hotel we stayed in. I hate to be a complain wart but i have to add another negative point about the hotel that we stayed in. Apparently, they are still renovating the hall ways when we stayed there. Workmen were still fixing the lighting and doing wiring in the hallway when we got to our room. It did not mother us much as they kept the noise down but there is one incident that irritated wifey. We got Astro TV in the room and wifey salivating over was watching the young Sir Sean Connery in 'You only live twice' which was playing on Star movies. According to wifey, the TV screen suddenly went blank and there goes her movie. I was out at the Photomalaysia.com meeting and did not realize that until wifey told me later. Probably the renovation work have messed up the wiring.

Now that we are talking about mr bond, The young Sir Sean do seem a bit cocky in 'You only live twice'. Maybe it's the acting in those era, where the heros are supposed to say corny pickup lines and the women characters in the show are casted as shallow and easy.
Anyway, after all is said and done, i do believe that Sir Sean is still the best bond actor. Better than Pierce Bronsnan, and probably much better than George Lazenby (whom i have never even heard of until last weekend on Rick Dees).
