of temporary freedom and sleep...
Since Sue Yi’s full moon will be on Wednesday, wifey and I decided to distribute the full moon package ahead of time today. For wifey, it’s a big adventure as she have been stuck in the confinement home for weeks. We pre ordered the full moon packages and they arrived early this morning. So we were off by 9am this morning. This outing gave her a chance to go out for a look see look see. She looks so excited and in her own words “it’s like being away and then come back to Penang”. Since there are not that many that we have to distribute, we were pretty much done by noon. Wifey’s mom and dad said that they will distribute for her side of the family while for my side there are just a few package to distribute anyway.
Sue Yi seems to be able to sleep through almost anything. We have noticed before that she was not bothered even by the loud noise from the office phone at the confinement house. Today she slept the longest stretch that I have noticed. After we came back from distributing the full moon packages, wifey fed her at around 2.45pm. Then she slept. Until 4.30 when I went to visit again in the afternoon. At 5.30pm she’s still sleeping. Then at 6 plus, one of the lady at the nursery said better wake her up since she needs a nappy change anyway. By the time we gave her milk it was close to 7pm and she was still sleeping. Slept through nappy change and ass wash! I think she must have got this sleep thing from wifey.
I am not sure if it is because she is hungry, but I think we have picked up some skills in feeding Sue Yi. She didn’t make any fuss or stop halfway this time. Took 2 ½ ounces in one go. We tried to put her is a more upright position taking tips from the last round with the other lady (plus also a good tip from Michelle). It seems to work so far. Let’s hope that this trend continues.
