of cars and adventures...

Sue Yi went for another big adventure yesterday. Wifey and I figured that probably it’s a good idea to introduce Sue Yi to as many people in our family as possible as soon as she is able to. We want to make sure that she will not grow up to be too clingy to us or any specific person. Also we wanna to introduce her to the environment that she will be visiting often. So last weekend we brought her back to meet her poh poh and kung kung. Being the daredevil irresponsible parents that we are, we decide to also leave Sue Yi under poh poh’s care we go shop for some stuff for a while. And before anyone start to shake their head and heave loud aiiii yooohhhh, the reason we wanna do that is so that we will be really sure that she get used to being cared by poh poh without us being panicky and running around like headless chiken.
So we got all packed up at 2pm and got ourselves ready to go. There must be something magical about cars as I read everywhere that babies usually fall asleep in cars. Sue Yi is no exception. She fell asleep and slept throughout the journey which is a good thing because she will be asleep when we arrive. So we left her at poh poh’s place and savor the taste of freedom quickly went out to buy the stuff that we need. We went to Gurney plaza and it seems like such a long time since we went there. We had lunch at Domino’s and then went for a bit of shopping. But before we even spent one hour, everything seems so dull and wifey already is missing Sue Yi. So, we quickly went to pick up the milk that we ordered and went back to poh poh’s place.
Poh poh’s report is that Sue Yi cried when she woke up, I guess must be the new environment but they manage to calm her down and fed her milk. Sue yi, was sleeping again when we got back. I guess this is a good sign as she is already comfortable enough to fall asleep at poh poh’s place. According to poh poh, even kung kung managed to feed her. So I guess Sue Yi passed this little test.
